I've shot highpower for a couple of years - but it's been mostly in 200 yrd reduced matches, and not with any clubs that would be considered rules sticklers, and I've never seen this question come up, until now....

Why would you want to? 'Borg It allows those with big hands to create a "larger" pistol grip. There is no rule that specifically alllows or disallows it, however, I know someone who was warned at the Creedmoor Cup last year for doing it and IIRC the rationale was that it was little different than using the M14 hinged buttplate which is specifically forbidden by rule. *IF* I remember the story correctly Dennis DeMille and someone ( Emil Praslick? ) basically talked it over and decided that it might be legal if you wore winter gloves or some such nonsense. Bottom line –– I wouldn't try it at a match I cared about... |
