might be there for a few days and i was wondering if theres any good gunstores around there that had any 223 for a good price......

In MONROE (15 Minutes from West Point) Master Class Shooters Supply...on 17M Near Museum Village.

In Sloatsburg (about 35 minutes from West Point) on Route 17 Near the NY/NJ Border: Davis Sport Shop.

Whoops...said you were looking for .223 ammo... Try China Mart in Woodbury (about 10-15 minutes from West Point) Take Route 6 to the bottom and it's right there.

Good shop with decent prices on reloading goodies. That is where I buy my powder and primers.
