Well, it’s been a hell of a week.  I’m going to head to Ft. Dix on Sunday, September 11th if anyone wants to meet.

I can bring a stopwatch Sunday.  I'm planning to bring some steel targets for the berm.
Edit to add, usually make it down there by 10-11ish.

This is a warm-up Mini-Blast for all those who may be interested. Just a couple of hours. We shoot our wolf on the Mini-Blasts so that we don't look like REDNECKS on the real BLAST, right BOSS, you know who you are.

After  30-45 minutes on the waiting list, Zbrane and myself got the No. 6 table for 2 hours. Great day for a shoot, Range 14 was packed beyond belief, Hunter training was in progress, but I don't know why the Army had the last 2 or 3 tables, when there are ranges all other the farking place

The R.O. Fart was bitching at quite a few people today, but did not notice Zbrane's STEEL blue democrat donkey on the berm.

Bastards....I tried to place a 10"x10" piece of 3/8 steel at the 200 yard line and the R.O. nearly blew a blood vessel in his head, kinda funny actually.  glad ya had fun.

R.O. don't want anyone disturbing the soil on the berm. Doesn't matter why - because. We just need to figure out a cheap, strudy, lightweight form or structure to hang them.

Metal sign posts, like you can find at HD.  They're the same ones they use for road signs.  Get a few of them and clamp em together for each leg you would need.  They're cheap, sturdy, and could probably resist a few hits before breaking.

Or you could go ultra cheap and use wooden stakes

It was a good day of shooting.  I started with the donkey about 10 feet from the berm.   When I went out to stand it back up, I quickly wedged it in the very base of the berm.  RO didn't notice or didn't care.  I'll have a wooden A-frame for the steel at the blast.  Looks like we'll have some other fun targets too

You can never be too prepared...Here everyone is getting prepared for zombies, but what about the vampires?!  Personally, I'm modifying some of my guns to shoot those wooden stakes

WHOA! Wassup wit dat? Is this a recent policy? I ask because my brother and I like to take clays and put them on the berm so we can pop 'em with the .308's. Would this be a no-go now?

When ever I've been there the age challenged RO yells "STAY OFF THE BERM" kinda like the cop in Risky Business yelling, "Get off the Baby sitter".

It sounds like you need to go back to Kindergaten class.
To go BORROW a few paint eassel's. They make great target platforms. Just hang and re-hang your targets in the middle.

Just a thought towards your dilemma........
