Perhaps come springtime - Christmas bills would be paid off and hopefully I won't get raped in taxes this year.

I don't seem to recall making that statement. Maybe you'd like to explain what "taking one for the team" means. Is that some homosexual jargon?  Maybe a "sleepover"  IS too weird. It looks like you just got all excited like Michael Jackson. Hiram....are you also "famous" for your sleepovers?

You'll have to ask your little lady and get back to us with that...  She isn't in California my friend, she's in my bed recooperating from a night of lust and passion with me... OK, not really. I'm dying in bed with the flu and will probably be alone tomorrow as I can't risk my sister getting sick and possibly ending up in the hospital again.  Y'all have a good Christmas. Tim, usually it onvolves old friends converging on the shop, catching up on each other's lives, putting faces to board names, doing a little shopping, breaking bread... in the past we have gone to the Albany gunshow, drank ourselves silly, visited late night gentlemen's establishments... We just have a good time. In the future we hope to find a range we can rent and do a little shooting.

And B&J's is maybe two mils from Forbes. Forbes is off of 155 and B&J is between Wolf Road and 155. |

Meet up at Brian's gun store (HiramRanger's friend), he has a nice selection of rifles and pistols and accessories and we shop a little and BS about guns and so on, we usually go out to dinner afterwards; sometimes we stay at a hotel in Albany if we're going to go out after dinner, though usually most of us end up in the hotel lobby BSing about guns and so on. Some of the young, spry fellows go out pretty late, I rarely make it past 10pm |

I second HKgnner's motion for Spring/Summer.
I would like to do an overnight for those who want to stay.Also shooting at one of the ranges with a BBQ for hambs and dogs would be good. I have a tough time driving in the winter,plus the baby is due and after she's born I need to be around to spoil her a bit. ........not to mention economic recovery needed to beging building the "compound"!!!! |

Firstly, I watch very little broadcast television, preferring to read instead. Secondly, the one time I DID browse the West Wing, I found it to be somewhat lacking. Thirdly, I moved out of WHite Plains several months ago, update your Christmas card list Hiram. Latsly, who the fuck you calling "geriatric"? Just because my breath isn't tainted with mothers' milk doesn't mean I'm ready for depends yet dearie.
