I posted earlier in the Armory about a friend from NJ buying his first AR. He wants a plugged 30rd mag. You for the "look" thing. FMJunkie said to come here for more ideas. So please gimmie some. Thanks

when i sold mags to people in jersey i took one of my old hockey sticks and cut the shaft in half and then cut it so that it would fit in the spring and limit the mag to 15 rounds.  I also made sure it fit in the spring so it wouldnt fall over on its side and either jam the mag or allow it to hold more rounds

Block of wood cut to size - sheet metal screw
thru floor plate into wood.

"permanent" but reversable

I use a Bic pen, attached to the follower leg.  Quick and dirty but very effective.

Sarco does it, a friend that is very highly placed in the pro gun movement was there when  NJ agreed to not enforce temporary blocking.

Hey I use the Bic pen method too.  Someone on the AR discussion metioned it and it works great.  Just needed to play around with the length to cut off but it's great.
