I am finally escaping NYS and it's libtard government.
As of last week in November, I will be living permanently in the Lone Star State, close to my sons and grandchildren! |

Yes, it has been at least 20 yrs when Edward and I went to Stephensville for the Black Rifle shoot As the song says; "I am older now and still running against the wind" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBJRD1VkxmI We shall get together and drink some beers -maybe even some "Windex Margaritas"- to those good people we have lost over the years. I think this is where I’m supposed to say we’re full, but I’ll add another welcome instead.

Wait. I have to ask - what are your thoughts on the 2nd and did you vote for Hillary last election?
All kidding aside WELCOME. Great to have you. I think you'll love our country here depending on where you land. |

That’s awesome sir
Hopefully you can make it to the Spring Cheesecake, it’d be an honor to meet you. |

View Quote Welcome. Unfortunately, I'm planning my move out of TX as this will be California-2 in the next 10 years. I came here from NY, 20 years ago to escape. But, the cancer is following. |

I will be in Rockwall county and look forward to participate in some of TX's get togethers

I would be happy to introduce you to the new owners if you are interested in a tour. I shoot mainly shotgun out there, but they also have a decent handgun and rifle range. |

Well there goes the neighborhood!
Welcome! Glad you're getting to leave the liberal hell hole. |

Fantastic, at some point we need to throw you a welcome party.

Congrats on your move Texas deserves your citizenship here, and I'll add, what took you so long?

Thanks, everyone
It took 7 years before we could move because the wife unit loves NY and the seasons and she was sure my sons would come back It was Edward's passing that convinced her that none of them were coming back to NYS |

Alight, but no more New Yorkers after you; it's getting ridiculous. The state is literally full, as impossible as that sounds. Every metro area has been completely encircled by about 20mi of suburban or denser development, and have begun metastasizing along the interstates. Podunk little Corpus Christi appears to be the next metro area to develop because of its port expansion. Property values are accelerating at a Californian rate from all the demand pouring in, though they still have a few decades to catch up with that hellhole.
If you're interested in a 'shooting lease' you can come & go from as you please and shoot damn near anything on, there's an old sand quarry in nearby Commerce who's owner I can hook you up with. The property is frequently featured in Machinegun Mike's Youtube videos. I hope you're saving some money from the sale of your overpriced NY digs to buy some machineguns with |

Who are you and why do we care.....
Welcome to Texas. Glad you're here. |

Good to have you, sir. You got here as fast as you could.
@The_Dog Beer first or Keg-o-Death first? |

Quoted: Hopefully y’all will settle in and come to appreciate the people and history down here, again, welcome!! View Quote I am aware of TX history and truly appreciate its people. From the times Mexico welcomed American settlers to the times when their gov felt it was being overpopulated by Americans. Read about The Alamo and its heroes, President Polk, the Mexican American War, Sam Houston, and other TX related topics. It is difficult to love a place and respect the people unless you have made an effort to really know where they came from and how they got there |
