Are there any arfcommer's in the used car business?
My BIL is starting school and commuting to Grand Prairie 5 days a week.
Right now he has an old Ford Diesel that needs some and is sucking the fuel dry.
He's looking for a cheap car that runs. Nothing special.
Any recommendations?

Honda civic off of Craigslist. I don't like Honda's and probably will never own one but you can't beat the reliability. Then purchase some AAA just in case of breakdown.

Craigslist. Keep in mind, the cheaper you get, the more you might have to pay on the backend. Price also will dictate if you like working on cars. Good luck but some of the best values disappeared with the CFC program.

Don't get a car from a dealer...
Private sale is where it's at or if you do have a dealer friend have him take you to the auctions.
