There is a smaller range in FTW somewhere that I have shot at a few times.  I think it was somewhat close to CTD???

The DFW link from this Arfcom forum is dead so I moved on.



 

Went to the Shooting Gallery and had a great time.  I hadn't been there in 8 years or so I think.  Met Dory their Pit Bull, she was sweet.  Nice clean range, air conditioned, good hangers and no range nazi sweeping up my brass.  Love all of the Zombie targets!!!



I am going to make day trips to go there and hit Cabelas on the same trip.

Does the Shooting Gallery allow rapid fire? or drawing from a holster? I pass by there every week but have never stopped

I seem to remember that they allowed rapid fire but drawing from the holster I have no idea.  Call them before you go.



 

No drawing from holster last time I was there –– too much liability and I agree (esp with concrete floors)
Nice range though and they do not let the saggy pants, gold tooth, gangsta types past the door.

Alpine used to be a great place to shoot but there are some majpr safety issues out there with the way people handle weapons

There is also a little known range called Qual Creek up I35 near the airport..

Shooters Club on 28th is not air conditioned... also their back stop is at a bad angle
and you are likely to get fragged from bullets breaking up on the steel....friend of mine
got a piece of a 45 jacket stuck in his shin...dug it out with a multi-tool ...
