It'd be a place to shoot stuff other than paper targets. I wonder if he allows you to bring stuff like old computers, etc. to blast at?

i don't know.  i would take it up with phil.  personally if you came to my place and wanted to shoot anything i would let you as long as you were willing to pic up every scrap of trash.  phil is building a nice place out there.  i would hate to see it junked up.

I wouldn't have a problem with picking up after myself. Even 1-gal water bottles or biodegradable stuff like watermelons would be a nice change from paper targets.

I think he would.  He was saying he was gonna get a car to shoot from and one to shoot at for one of the ranges.

Shooting a car...that would be a lot of fun.

I called Phil with the questions. He said he will provide a car to shoot AT. He also said, we can bring bowling pins, bowling balls, clay targets, but not fruit, computers, refrigerators.

Place is open everyday, all the time.

He can split the cost into two payments.

I think I will join.

I would consider it if I were closer.

The downside is he doesn't want alot of rifle fire unless it's supervised.  Yuck.

I'm a member at Pearland Shooting Club... real nice place but you can't shoot anything but paper unless it's a club sanctioned event, such as bowling pins or steel targets.  I want to shoot some pumpkins damnit... it's Halloween!

It's near Brookshire, TX west of Katy. Fee is $250 per year split into two payments if you like.
