BREAKING— A man is in the hospital after an officer involved shooting near Spring Creek Pkwy. Plano Police say the man fired at an officer first and the officer returned fire, hitting the man. We don’t know his condition. The officer is ok.

Was stuck in this Spring Creek traffic this morning around 10:30, I had come off Alma going west on Spring Creek, basically had to detour through neighborhoods to reach Independence Pkwy.  Must been 30-40 marked/unmarked police vehicles blocking not just Spring Creek but one block north at Cherokee Street was also closed to traffic.  Neighbors out in their yards watching the slow traffic flow.

Basically avoid Spring Creek between Custer and Alma.

At the time I thought maybe was search of that haji abode who murdered the Lyft drive and shot it out at the Plano PD building.
