Pioneers,
We now have on our website a contribute page, with a button that will allow people to donate to the American Pioneer Corps. Our first phase of the fundraising challenge is simple- between now and the end of February, get as many people as you know (mom, dad, brothers, cousins, friends, neighbors, coworkers, facebook "friends" you've never actually met or hope never to meet again) to log on and donate to the American Pioneer Corps. Persons who donate are able to have their name, or the name of another person, added to our contributor page in conjunction with their donation. Donations as the page is currently setup are one time donations of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 250, 500, or 1000 dollars.
Please ensure that people know this is tax deductible. Also, as you pursue this, let folks know that this is a viable alternative to BSA. Our goal is to reach a minimum of 25k dollars in donations by the end of February, at which point we will launch phase two.
I'd also like to challenge each of you to personally find non-participants who would be willing to pledge a recurring monthly donation of at least 10 dollars a month- such supporters are going to be essential to building a funding base to help us grow opportunities.
