About 8 years ago I was young, ignorant on the issue of buying a home, and in a hurry to get out of renting. So I bought a house that happened to be a double wide on a permanent foundation. The area was great, the house was a nightmare everytime something had to be fixed.
Well I worked in coal and we all know the left views coal ad universal evil, so I got a job in the gold mines out in Nevada. So I put my old house on the market, get a buyer lined up, and his mortgage company wants a copy of the title (that has been surrender and/or destroyed). My mortgage company, PNC, doesn't seem to have any idea about it because back then they didn't gaf, they had it converted to real property and dropped the issue.
So now I'm on the other side of the country, can't get ahold of the DMV because the system just hangs up when you press to speak to someone, and the only thing I need to finish selling this house is a copy of the title.
Any ideas how to get this? I'm lost and definitely can't afford to fly back home to deal with the DMV in person and they wouldn't let me kn without an appointment anyway.
