Bear in mind these 2 cases are currently described as "presumptive" as in "not confirmed but we'll assume that it is".
But yeah, only a matter of time before it showed up here. |

Not that I plan on travelling any time soon, but where is the country Others? Please point it out on the globe for me!
I want to be sure to avoid it like the plague. Seems that they would have broke down what the "others" were or it would have been better suited further down the list or maybe with an asterisk. According to the media, it's TEOTWAWKI even though our regular flu has claimed more victims. I will admit to being fairly stocked up on TP, but that is just normal for me. Thanks Sam's |

Buddy was doing his regular shopping at wally world. Went to get some crap to clean his bathroom. He said the isle was bare and sent me a pic. Well reason not to house clean. In other news auto parts for work are taking an extra five days.

I am headed to Atlanta tomorrow, and am not happy about it.
The company I work for has severely curtailed most travel internationally, and is limiting us that travel domestically. |
|
I work with a guy (we'll call him Don).
His son spent the weekend with the grandma (Don's ex MIL). As grandma was bringing the child back to Don on Sunday, she was called by CDC and told to self quarantine due to interacting with the Kershaw patient. |

There are actually "presumptive" cases at LexMed. They have a tent setup outside the ER to screen people as well.

10 cases now. Also, if you have any first- or second hand knowledge relevant to the Kung Flu, RUMINT, whatever- please share. |
|
I believe, based on observations made by my kids, Charleston County schools will close tomorrow.

I have a highly placed trusted person in a federal department: State, Commerce, and DHS are all going to telework-only. Announcement coming. Other .fed departments to follow.

FYI, I just got the official e-mail, the April 4-5 Jamil Temple SCACA gun show is cancelled. Possibly will be rescheduled, depending on how this all plays out.

Does anyone know what SC gun laws are during an emergency? I tried looking on Google but couldn't find anything.
That IL stopping sales/confiscation stuff has me worried. |

I hate to say it, but for my selfish piece of mind, I’d rally rather Richland Co mandate a mass school closure.

Now 14 cases. Long-term care patient at Lexington Hospital diagnosed.
|
|
No details yet, but I have heard from a friend of my family that covid-19 has been found in at least one patient at a Lexington nursing home. Could be bad.

SC public schools to close for minimum of two weeks, through March 31st , per Governor's order on Sunday.
My wife's district already has remote e-learning during weather closures set up as a pilot program, so will not lose days in the summer. I do not know how other districts will handle it, but for vacation planning, I would not count on kids having the full summer off this year. Edit to add, per governor, e-learning or take home work will be set up for all districts to minimize lost time. Also federal waiver of end of year standardized testing has been requested. |

47 cases now.
Dine-in locations closed by order of McMaster. Columbia imposed curfew beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, 18 March at 11:00 pm |

Purely anecdotal and FWIW, but my wife is a teacher. When SC closed the schools on Sunday, the teachers were told to prepare 2 weeks of home lessons for the students. Now they are already being told to prepare 30 days of lesson plans. I would not count on your kids being back to school in two weeks.
|

30 days of this and people are going to be losing their minds.
I’m still going to work. Wife and kids are home all day. All my firearms are locked up, but I may talk to my wife about stage a few around the house. This is starting to frazzle me. |
|
Freud is getting frazzled!
Should I be worried? My wife is a teacher as well. She will be home with our kids and is trained on shooting I don’t know how much more my work will hold out to keep me busy, but I will be home as well when I can. We are stocked for the long haul, but everyone else worries me. |
|
I guess there's no excuse not to get 4K pieces of rifle brass swaged, resized, and trimmed now is there?

Where do you find this graphic?

I grabbed a case of Canadian Club the weekend before last from Costco, and I'm glad I did.
