A gentleman from MA won my auction for a preban 30 round mag.  When I looked to see if I could ship it MA, what I found sounded like the customer had to own it before 1994 and have a class A or B license.  Customer says it just has to be preban, and then it can be shipped to him.

Is this gentleman correct?

Thanks,

Brick

EDIT

After reading some other posts here it seems this guy is correct and I can send him his preban mag.

The buyer only needs to possess a MA LTC to own it.

It merely needs to be mfd on/prior to 9/13/1994 for possession in MA to be legal. It doesn't matter where you obtained it from. No S/Ns on mags and no registration (yet) on them either.

So with that, yes you can ship it to him.
