I just got back from the range, having pi$$ed some other shooters off, gowd I love my converted FR8, and little Steiner scope, and cheap surplus ammo
. It gives me better results than some other shooters €5,000 complete packets with hand loaded ammo.
I should have been going to the Oktoberfest, but that's another story.  ..

Funny you say that Steve, I said as a joke at the start that the winner had to bring the 3 flags in of the top of the hill behind the range, you can see the top above the terraces. 
Thats no1 son shooting Steve, he did OK, still not quite strong enough to stand and shoot, I should of gone for a lighter handgaurd, I will have to change that. He got issued his nice new shiney L98A2 last week, so he was keen to get
a bit of practice, and he is going for LSW training in a couple of weeks. The 'hog' was cooked by an ex-army chef at home and just put on a hot plate at the range, I can't of cooked that because nobody got food poisoning
Its the first thing I have won for a while, so I is well chuffed
