OK, so who's holding out? Name and shame or do we need to get a whip-round going?

Cool.

Of the serious regular posters I can recall there is only Clayo left, but he is really new. And he hasn't even got his rifle yet....
I'm bound to be forgetting someone. They won't stand up but for the shame though ;-)

Has anyone invited Clayo to Bisley yet? Maybe he should turn up on the open day?

3rd of Sept. See www.nra.org.uk to register if you want to shoot. Not sure if you can register on the day, but I think if you have your FAC then it's no problem. The registration is for new (non-FAC) shooters, I believe.

Should be a good day for all those interested in taking up the shooting sports. Lots of try-shoots. If you're a shooter already it might be a bit tame, but you could see something you've not tried before. There are many different disciplines being trialed.

And besides, many of us (target-hunter, streetfighter, myself and possibly ACR26) will be there coaching. Come buy us a drink afterwards... please?! All are welcome.

As of this DTG I will be there.
How about a shoot on the Friday afternoon, followed by a night in the Canadian?

I'm sure i can sue for remarks like that

And as for the bisley thing, could someone forward me some dates and times, i might pop up to meet some of you, but if i cant could you tell me your addresses what time you'll be out of your houses and the alarm numbers would be helpfull ( but not essential as we scousers have a knack of getting into things !! )

And i will join soon !

Steve.

What do you mean? Like  "Member::-) Smooth is fast, fast is smooth"?

Go to the "edit profile" link above and change Forum Title to change the slogan under your name.

It's a funny coincidence...but every time Big Al and Reecy come down from Merseyside...we always seem to find a burnt-out Cavalier in the carpark at Bisley

Stu, we went through this with Taffy last night...
Go to Services (top of screen) then click on Photo Server.
Then top left, just below the AR15 logo it says Avatar/Sig pic.
Click on that and upload your pic.
It must be no bigger than 80x60 pixels and 12k max.
Then go to Edit profile and customise as necessary

Don't forget you may have to log in "again" once you get to the photo server page IIRC
That was what buggered eveything up for me....I'll admit it was pretty frustrating
But thanks to you guys and some luck I made it

Still not sure if I'm gonna keep this avatar yet

What? You want a magazine as well?

Thats one mag further than I've got

Stueve,
Your barrel will be finished tomorrow and in to the Proof House on Tuesday (if they are ready to take a load of rifles for instant proof) and then the barrel will be off and in to the platers later that day.  They usually take a week or so.

Matt, with the best laid plans.....

edited as I nearly sold it to someone else

I've fixed the first post, Steve. Got confused between you and Pep.
Visited the plater on the way home tonight and fore-warned them I'm coming in early next week.

As we have digressed into a Matt, have you finished my rifle thread, Matt, how's my barrel?

The Border one, in 20", on the SDM type rifle, in the logun rifle bag which has lots of suspicious latex gloves in the pocket.
