Hi and thanks for the info in advance... My wife and I have been looking at relocating and have been considering NM (Since the Brady Campaign gives it a "D" rating I said thats my place!). Were looking for acreage 5-10 or more. Someplace where we can do some small scale farming for our own needs and hopefully expand to a small community farm. I know there are water rights issues in the state that can be confusing, so were looking for something with a well and or irrigation rights. In short were looking at Northern New Mexico and need to be within an hour or two of an airport... can any of you help us narrow our search? Greatly appreciate any help you can give.

What type of airport is needed?

IE, do you fly yourself or need commercial airport?

Chito, consider the Rio Grande valley between Española and Taos.

i fly commercial...i guess santa fe has some commuter connections to denver as well as albuquerque..from what i gather there isn't much to consider south of albuquerque that would be worth looking into due to the lack of water.
