Got some friends at WalMart, 50+ hour week is standard. Lots of them seem to have the flexibility to work from home on occasion.

I work for a Wal-Mart vendor in NWA, and my advice would be to definitely consider the vendor side. There are tons of companies with big offices here dedicated to serving Wal-Mart and you are really limiting yourself by only considering Wal-Mart and JB for jobs.

I'm also a vendor (category management and advisor for Walmart) and work for a fortune 100 company here in Rogers, AR. My office has about 30 people but there are definitely larger (and smaller) offices around here. |
