Thought the wife and I were gonna be stuck at Tripler AMC today - their two lane became a one-lane for a while, but the water receded...

Suprisingly dry in Ewa Beach, although Puuloa range had a bit of standing water today.

Makiki here. i'm all good. live on the second floor so not much flooding up here. i don't think the downstairs had any flooding either but a ton of water outside. was afraid my truck would wash off the driveway down a 4 foot slope and into the house. gladly it didn't and we here are all safe and dry. as for my work... leaks all over the damn place. at one point we had a mini waterfall in there.

Waianae Side suprisingly okay, not much flooding except certain places. Nothing like town side.

spent some time in the sun today - felt great after all the rain. I needed it as much as I imagine a crack head needing a fix... Hopefully we can get two days in row!

Soil's pretty porous here in hilo, a lot of the wet stuff just sinks into the ground.
