Born in Fairbanks in '83

Spent my first years there, left when I was 2 or 3, went back in 02 and realized I belonged there. Spent a few weeks in Denali with my dad, he used to be vice president of sales for princess cruises, so knew the territory pretty well.

My question was....what is it they call people who are born in Alaska? Sourdoughs? I remember hearing something about that from an old timer...

Was outside a few nights ago, and by some stroke of luck, saw the northern lights...realized yeah, they were calling me. After I get out of the service, planning on heading up north...

I was born in AK, but moved back to WA at 10 mos. I have been back twice. I kinda know how you feel man! But I still wouldn't call myself an Alaskan. To be an Alaskan you gotta fuck an eskimo, kill a bear, and piss in the Yukon. Either that or piss in the Yukon, kill an eskimo and fuck a bear, I can't ever remember.
