No issues in CR at checkout with teller.

Self checkouts at Walmart and Lowes are credit/debit only.

I refuse to do self checkout. First I am not their employee no matter the store. Those stores who offer their employees a discount that apply that discount at the self checkout to all customers then I may consider it. I would have to weight it against the point in my second reason. Second using the self checkout removes jobs from Americans and does not do anything to reduce the price of goods in the stores. I also have a feeling that self checkout increases the amount of small item theft. That theft likely is covered by insurance but what does that do to premiums across the board for all stores.

Meh.

To each their own. It beats dealing with the typical half retarded mouth breathers that most places employ these days, IMO.

totally get that about the self checkout, i usually don't use them, but at the ottumwa walmart, if you're lucky, there may be one checkout lane that actually has someone running it. As far as the jobs go, there could be alot of jobs created by the massive jump in online pick up ordering, see lots of employees up and down the aisles picking orders for pick up.
