Marathon came out with a statement saying that they were going to cap their gas prices @ $2.999/gal

Prices @ all Marathons here in Battle Creek were dropped, and now all of the other stations still at $3.19 (some @ $3.39) look like Ghost Towns.

Good on Marathon. They might make less that the others on price, but they are making up for it in volume of sales.

I would have preferred that capped @ $1.99, but I'll take what I can get.

Did you notice a $.40 jump one day and Aunt Jenny saying she was going to loose some inspectors the next. Suddenly a $.40drop. But they're NOT goughing.
