How far is that from Memphica, the "gunshow" last weekend at the mid south fair grounds was 75% flea market junk, nothin but jerkey, swords, cheap knives, and jewlry.

Well it takes me about just under 3 hours to get from Memfrica to Murfreesboro so I would say about 2 45 min or so if traffic is good

Almaville Road exit on I-24 between Nashville & Murfreesboro. Are you in Roane Co.?

I'll be there. The Pope shows are usually pretty decent.
Need to score an AR reciever or two.

Take I-840 from I-40 to I-24West & look for the Almaville Rd. exit, turn right, take the left at the light (about 1/4 mile or so) & follow the road to the Expo. It'll be on the left.

Nice crowd today at the show. I saw where next year they're moving to a Friday night & all day Sat & no Sunday schedule. Curious to see if that works. Sunday crowds are usually about 50% or less of the Sat crowd size, IMO.

I was thinking about going to the Pope show tomorrow, but I'd only be interested in "no-ban" semi autos.  Anyone see any interesting "no-ban" semi autos there  today?

What the hell is a "no ban" AR?

Semi autos with folding stocks, flash hiders, bayonet lugs was what I meant.

Hard to know what to call them now.  They aren't pre-ban, because it's after the ban.  They aren't post-ban because that's what everyone called the neutered rifles.  Maybe post-post ban?  I've seen & heard many people call them "no-ban" rifles.

Fairly decent selection of AR's on Sat afternoon.  The ammo selection and pricing wasn't that good. After you add TN sales tax, you can do better off the net having 223 and 7.62 shipped to your house!

I was there early Sat afternoon.  Not a single stripped lower that I could find!!!!

And of course, a few dealers that don't seem to realize the ban is over.

I take it you haven't paid shipping lately?

J&T had them.

No kidding. One dealer had hi-cap Glock mags for $75 each, another had them for $30 each, same mags.

I may have been walking around. We had 2-3 more people than we needed & it got crowded when everyone was there. We'll be there for all of the future shows as well, AFAIK.

I was stuck working all weekend and couldn't make the show.  I'm in the market for a stripped lower as well, Bob who is J&T are they local?  What lowers did they have (I want a Bushie) and do you recall how much they were?

J&T is one of the sponsors here. I think they're out of KY & their lowers run about $125 or so. There's a link for them in the link section.
