Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone have a 1/2"-28 Die? Need to chase muzzle threads

I have an AUG barrel that was threaded professionally to 1/2"-28, but the start of the threads was slightly messed up where I cannot put a muzzle device on it.  Looking for a 1/2"-28 die to chase and clean them up.  I'm in Utah County.

I just looked and all I have is a 1/2" - 14 Die...  If that becomes an option, let me know.

You might be able to clean it up with a magnifying glass and needle file. Are you sure of the thread pitch?

Do you know the shop that threaded it? ADCO Firearms repairs buggered threads, but that service isn't cheap.

Yes it is 1/2”-28 and Adco did the work from 13mm? To 1/2”-28
