I had not been to a jazz game in a couple years.  but had always CCW into the arena . to my surprise.  they now have metal detectors and signs saying no weapons allowed. cost me 10 minutes to walk back to the car ,
I wonder If i can bill those asshats for security to escort me from the arena to my car.

I have seen the detectors come and go. Usually you can get in through will call and there are no detectors.

Interesting. I wasn't wanded the last two times I went to a Jazz game, or the last time I went to a concert.

Maverik Center has pat-downs though.

If they try and wand you just tell them about your heart condition and scream bloody murder if they argue.
