What kind of work do you want done?
I don't know any SLC gunsmiths but depending on what you need done you might be able to get one of the SLC members to help ya out. Heck depending on what ya need done I'd help ya out...I'm in Ogden though. |

I want to "unban" a Colt M4 i.e. real Colt colapsable stock and remove the muzzle brake and install a FS.

The stock is easy to replace. You just need a CAR stock wrench to remove the old and install the new. As for the muzzle break removal, I'm assuming it's on a 14.5" barrel and thus permanently attached. Dig around the AR boards, there are usually a few threads on how to remove them. You will also have to permanently attach the flash hider if the barrel is under 16" without it. Or get it registered as an SBR. |

I would change the stock myself and I would probably send my upper to www.adcofirearms.com. I have had adco do work for me and have been very happy with them. If you find someone in Salt Lake to do this for you please let me know.
