I used to go to those when I was in skool down there. Better (and bigger) than any show in Oregon. If you ever wanted to go visit Arizona, try to plan for that weekend. Last time I was there, it was two to three times the size of the big Portland show and had a whole separate building for just the Class III gear. Many vendors there too.

maybe we can get a head count and coordinate some kind of caravan down there. since i am new to this sport and just getting to get a taste of it, i myself would love to go with some peeps who know what they are looking for and whats a deal and stuff. |

JUNK....dummy guns for reenactment groups, museums, and production company.
Before heading to Phoenix we are dropping off several dummies to studio places in la la land. Also tons of HK and other gun parts. |

Don't count on it. Last time I was there all it did was rain like crazy. Really COLD rain too.  Enjoy, I'm envious.

Your going to be the only guy walking around in shorts, jesus jordans and a sun glasses. Everyone else will be bundled up! 70 in AZ is friggin cold!

My wife was talking to her sister down there the other day, and she was complaining that she was freezing at 65. FWIW, shorts and short sleeve shirts were good for me year round. This is a great time of year to go (though the spring, all 20 minutes of it, are a little nicer). |

Went yesterday, going again today. Everything you could ever want is at the show, but ammo prices arent any better than the normal HSM or Surplus ammo. I doubt I will ever go to the Portland show again after being here. It rained like a sumbitch Friday.
I only went through all the buildings once and it took 3 hours. I did see an HK upper for $3500, but no SCARS or anything not already on the market. |

Some good deals.
Picked up some near NIW m60 canvas carry bags, two of them had the NIW cleaning kits and the original ASBESTOS glove  for 15 bucks.They are good for carrying underfolder AK, the tool pocket can carry 1 40 rounder and the bigger cleaning pocket can carry 1 30 rounder. pmags for 15, some HK mags. Special weapons Todd bailey was there selling a new nickel and dime song of a UMP for 400 bucks. gotta wait 16-18 weeks but it was come out. it was aUMP pistol and he is making everything All alum. and in super shape. |
