Are there any places in the Portland, Tualitan Valley area where you can do some shooting out to 500yds give or take? Lookin' to get a precision rig but wont if there's no place to shoot it. Thanks.

You could probably use the Banfield  at around 3:00 in the mourning.

You could always shoot Washington

I’m looking for the same thing down here in the Corvallis area. Douglas ridge is up closer to Portland and I’m told there’s some good distance over south of La Pine but that’s several hours away. If you find anything good, please let me know.

Best regards, J

Actually the Banfield is pretty busy at that time. Not that I would. Yes over near lapine there some areas that go for miles without anything around it or behind it.

I'm surprised you guys didn't mention PDX. That would be long and straight.

I would never take a firearm to the airport but if I had a precision rig, it would be possible to take out the surveillance wouldn't it?

Tri-county has a 600 yard range and I think that they even allow .50 cal - or at least they used to.

The 600 at Tri-County is only open on certain days, you have to check the calendar. hey have not been 50 freindly for some time. From what I was told at Douglas Ridge, the 1000 is open at all times, they allow 50, but only on certain days.
