I've shot the full size 9mm Pro and fell in love with it.

I also know that I hate anything less than the Pro trigger and so, I need your help.

I was about to

by purchasing the full DCAEK and FSS kits.  BUTT!!!

I saw "metal"  trigger here and the "rat-da-da-damn now new poly" trigger over there available with the kit and...

Hey, I just want the best drop in trigger for my M&P 9C for carry.  Cut and dried.

TIA to those that can help this old man that loves G19s, BHPs and 1911s.

No way I would personally carry one with the FSS.
I've had the Pro and a few regular m&p s as well as the shield.
Tried many combo's of the apex kits.
Personally I'd just buy an apex sear, drop it in and be done.

I have a full size and a shield set up that way.  If you're near Dallas you are welcome to come see how they feel.
Just got rid of my pro with the FSS but it broke like a 1911 at 3.25#

Thanks for the reply.

I know nothing of M&Ps but loved the full-sized PRO that I had a chance to shoot last summer.

BTW, you are not the first to tell me to go "bits & pieces" with the M&P.

I put the DCAEK and AEK in my 45c.  I used the stock trigger spring and ended up with a very smooth 4.5# trigger.  I would not use the FSS in a carry gun.

I also like the duty carry kit from Apex
I have done hundreds of trigger jobs on m&ps
and the Apex kits are easy to install and yield a great trigger
You also can put a factory pro sear in any m&p whch gives a nice trigger pull with a bit of polishing

I think the Apex sear and polished plunger (Ultimate Striker Block) is a great combo.

When the trigger bar is traveling rearward it is gritty and hangs up on the OEM 'blocky' striker block.  The polished Apex solves this.
