Does anyone have any recommendations on an appliance repair person/company that services Gwinnett county ? I have a 16 year old Amana gas range that randomly decides to increase oven temp. Tonight my 400 degree oven went to 600 degrees in short order. My dinner did not appreciate that sudden increase in temps and neither did I

Best Buy is pretty inexpensive. Try Home Depot, too, they sell a lot of appliances.
I found a local 1-man shop in Cobb that usually shows up within a few hours or at least the next day for $55. I found him on Kudzu.com. |

Neither Best Buy or Home Depot repair appliances. The best luck I have had was walking into Fox Appliance Parts and telling them what was wrong. They give me the part and tell me how to install it.
Some thing tells me that the situation is handles |

Fox is no longer in the Stone Mountain area.

They use to have a warehouse in Stone Mtn off of HWY 78. It was really nice to call w/ mdl # & ser # to get the part you needed. It also helped to have a FIL as a retired appliance tech.
