The 12/27 AK Operator course is a go.

Please plan on showing up around 8am.  Course fee is $70 (including range fee.)

I have a few others that may make it, but we'll see.  We should have some decent weather, but be prepared for some light rain and of course, the famous Creekside mud.

Please bring a change of clothes to stay dry and a lunch.  We will not leave the range and will most likely have a "working" lunch.  I would also bring a pen/notebook to take some notes.

•Field Strip for cleaning and maintenance
•Basic AK zeroing theories
•Basic AK control manipulations
•Fundamentals of shooting
•AK speed shooting techniques
•Emergency and Tactical reloading techniques
•Malfunction clearance techniques
•Secondary weapon transitions
•Multiple threat engagements
•Fighting Drills

Here is the required equipment list (except where noted)

AK (any kind is acceptable)
Minimum of 3 magazines
Rifle magazine pouches
Sling attached to the AK
750 rds. rifle ammunition (No steel core or armor piercing)
Pistol with holster
Minimum of 2 pistol magazines with magazine pouches
200 rds. pistol
Ear/Eye Pro, hat, and any other creature comforts you desire
Binoculars (Not required, but helpful)
AK sight moving tools *Optional, but bring them if you have them.
AK cleaning kit (the small round one that fits into the buttstock) *This is optional, but we will have a section on cleaning & maintaining the AK and this will be helpful.
