Any of the local crowd have one of these or heard anything about them?
I found a very good buy out west at a manufacturer of other stuff who has some. Would make a very neat SBR.
Thanks ya'll.

If it is the one with the carbon frames, I would stay away.  I have heard some very bad things about the carbon frames chambered in anything but .22lr.  They seem to be a bit too delicate to take any real pressure.

I will say that I have also heard some people say good things about them.  Just not nearly as often as I hear bad.

Frames don't take pressure.

Now you just need a holster for that pistol.

Well TROS has the 9mm pistol for a very low price to move them out. One is on order to see wht gives. I have an extra 1/2 x 36 3 lug so I can see if I like it before I spend any more $ on paperwork.

I have one sbr'ed and its one of my favorite toys.  I bought mine new for $700, makes for a good project.  It is much easier to sbr than the 5.56.  I know this because I have done that 1 2.  The carbon upper and lower is all about personal preference.  I myself do really like aluminum better.

Edit, pics added.

I'm thinking about one for a 9mm SBR build.  Probably cheaper instead of going the .223 to 9mm conversion route.

If you want it as a 9mm pistol, I wouldn't even think to CCW it, so I would only get one if you want to SBR it.  Otherwise it's useless as anything but a range toy, and I would go with .223 instead of 9mm for a range toy.

checked mine out today. Low serial number (under 50). It has a standard buffer in it. Wonder why.

Bushy uses a heavier bolt carrier (has a weight pined in) so they use a standard buffer.

I have one of the POI carbon pistols in .223.  they were the ones who made it before bushy bought them out.

I've never shot it.  anyone want it?

I thought you gave it back to the neighbor?

I might be interested.

Personally I like the Carbon Fiber pistols.  I have one converted to .22 LR and am considering picking up a 9mm for a suppressed SBR project (Hello PSI !!).

Another option is spikes tactical 9mm pistol.  It will make a good looking suppressed SD type weapon with the shorter barrel and long hand guards.

Carbon Fiber projects.

I sold a few of those at the store, I don't think anybody had any problems with them.

I dunno, someone who knows more about ARs would need to look at it before I felt good about selling it.  Bushy said they would fix the POI issues for $100

Professional Ordinance did a few dumb things. Bushmaster told me the following:
1. Chamber was non-milspec. Bushmaster fixed this
2. Bolt was non-milspec - fixed this also
3. lower was non-milspec - fixed this also
4. buffer was non-milspec - fixed this also.

Now they are fixed - wish we could get their subguns in CF - boy - they  look pretty cool.

I just do not know if I want 2 9mm SBR's or maybe something else.

they told me for $100 they would ream the chamber, cut new feed ramps, and fix the bolt.  I just don't shoot 223 so it's not worth it for me.

Sounds like you should let them fix it then sell it and put a few $$ in your pocket.
