Yep picked up a S&W 686 NIB the other day for $445.  I'll get pics up later, but the trigger on this thing is as smooth as glass.  I thought my model 10 had a kick ass trigger, this one is at least twice as good.

I'm not a revolver fan, but I love the 686.  I sometimes rent one at the range.  It is so much fun to shoot, and it is the best tack driver I've ever shot.  I shoot the 686 better than I shot my Wilson Combat.

My first big caliber pistol is and was a S&W 686  5or 6" barrel. Still got it.That was back in 1987. I bought a 686 snub nose with the nice wooden finger grip cut hand grips a year or two later. It may have been awhile since I have shot them ...10 years probaly, I still will not sell them. They are sweet. I guess I should drag them out. When everyone was carrying the " Wonder Nines " I was packing a six shot  snub nose 686 as my carry pistol. . You did very good in your choice, WarDawg

I need to defrag my HD.  It won't load any pics up to the server.  Lemme see if I can email BTB or Buzz for a quick help with hosting.

For some reason I feel like Boris the Blade when I pick up the 686.

Heavy is good... heavy is reliable... if it does not work you can always hit him with it.
