Yesterday about 4pm a tornado/funnel cloud touched down at RDU. The Control tower was evacutated and all flights came to a stop. Five small planes were flipped over on their roof. The glass in many bus shelters was shattered. Very large signs were ripped down. Rooftop AC units were ripped off and tossed into the parking lots. The 7 level 6000+ space garage had a atrium roof that was completely shattered. Large prices of glass fell 7 stories onto moving walkways.
No injuries that I've heard about. I was at the airport at the time and it was a total mess. People just freaked out and went loonie toons. I headed the hell out of there...work be damned. Freaked out people are more dangerous than the tornado!

That's crazy, I didn't even hear about that.
Back where I'm from in Oklahoma, we'd get a tornado warning almost every night during the summer. I really don't care for tornados much. Glad no one was hurt though.

When sheeple panic it's best to duck and cover than to be trampled to death.
How's the Kimber?

Kimber is long gone, traded off for a Glock 30. (great trade IMO) I'm really not a 1911 guy. Glocks and wheelguns are more my cup O tea.
