I've got a buddy who lives/retired about 2 miles South of Belgrade and has been down there for 20yrs. He knows everyone. My BIL also has a friend he served with who has family that owns a lot of land in the area who may know names, history, etc. PM me a name and I'll ask around.

Most of these counties have "historical societies" that save a TON of old records from the county.

I drove through that area quite a bit when I lived in Rolla. A county historical society is a good place to look; the Missouri SHS is also an excellent resource for old documents that may provide some information.
