The press is old.  It might actually be old enough to be a RL550 that was upgraded to a B model.  Those are the items with the * by them.  So, if I were to buy a new RL550B today with all this stuff, the price would be $1087.05.

(Also, I picked up for another friend a brand new set of RCBS dies and 100 pcs of new, primed NORMA .340 Weatherby Mag Brass for....$50!!!  Brass alone would be well over $120, and the dies are $30-40 depending on where you get them.  Awesome deals!)

nice score. I picked up a LNIB 550b for a comp;ete lower a couple months ago. I don't reload yet(not sure of how, or what) But, I'm ready.

Also if any of those powder drop dies are extra let me know, I'll swp ya some 44mag dies for it.

Dillon has an excellent reputation for CS and warranty issues. If anything is old or worn out, they will replace it for free with no questions asked.

I can attest to this.  Once I called them because I had broken a piece on my 550B out of my own stupidity–– it was when I first acquired my press and I literally had misunderstood how the priming system worked, and I'd broken it by trying to force something while assembling it wrong.  I admitted it was my own fault and asked to buy a replacement part, and told them that I had gotten my press second-hand and not from them.  The guy on the phone insisted that they replace the priming system for free and told me that if I had any more problems figuring the reloader out, to call him and he would help talk me through the setup.  

Been a huge Dillon fan ever since.  If they made better dies I would be using their equipment exclusively.

Mike Dillon is a good guy. Also great customer service, all other companies could take lessons from folks like Mike Dillon. Lee Precision (Richard Lee) is equally good, if I break a part on my equipment I make a phone call and it is in the mail and I get it in a couple days.
Magpul also has AWESOME customer service, I Break a part or have any sort of problem I make a call and I get replacement parts.

What happened to customer service in this country?

I nearly doubled my investment in the press by buying a Strong Mount, Bullet Tray, and the Double cartridge/brass bins.  And, the two calenders, of course!

I actually had the press mounted directly to the bench for the past few days.  It's all setup to crank out some .223.  But, I most likely will setup the .223 on the turret, and get the 550B setup for .45ACP production.

That's awsome... what is that blue thingy for?
