Bessemer gets a fair share of film projects. Over the years there have been Arnold Schwarzenegger , Diana Ross, Adam Wingard (Kong v Godzilla), Travolta, Sci-fi original, Ron Perlman, Julianne Moore, Bully Crudup, Steven Straigh (The Expanse) etc projects all shot there. The gritty and historical nature of the town offers cool visuals.

varied historical architecture because after the UNCivil War, the South was too broke to update it's housing.
