I live 2 miles outside of Mamou.  It used to be a lot more fun.  Of course, I was younger then, so that might have something to do with it.  But it used to be one hell of a party on Tuesday when the riders came back into town.  Now, it's all pretty much over around 3;00 in the afternoon.  Looks like a ghost town after that.  Used to be, the party would go on til at least midnight.  I remember riding back to LSU late one night in the back of a pickup, sleeping and trying to sober up for a test the next morning........
