Am I right in remembering that a rather large gunshow is held in the fall at the BJCC?  I believe it is one of those collectors shows, and its large selection puts my local show to shame.  Anyhow, I need to get some jerky and have a knife sharpened, does anyone know when/if this show will be held?

I'd like to know as well.  There's a website somewhere of the shows.

Apparently the AGCA show is the weekend of our shoot, Oct 23.

Awesome!  A two-for-one.  Expend all of your ammo and then go buy some more!  Does ACGA have a website?  I can't find it.  (help if I knew what the acronym stood for)

AGCA Does not have a web sight that I know of.

The AGCA show is the best show at the BJCC Bar none. and the October show is their largest of the year.

Entrance fee is $5

Mnay many guns, parts and should be ammo dealers too.

The best show to go to in Birmingham

Show is from 9am sat to 5ish, and 9-4? sunday I think.

I am looking at going saturday afternoon. Is anyone interested in going after the shoot or some other time that week end?

Right now I plan to come by the shoot for a couple of hours & then head to the show.  I'm sure I'll see you at one or the other.

What a bust!!!!!

20-round AR10 mags - $60!!

HK USP .45 10 rounders - $50!! (couldn't find a 12 rounder)

Port .308 - $50/200 rounds!!

Aussie .308 - $50/200 rounds!!

Are you kidding me?  What a waste of time.

The only thing that made it worth while was handling the Stoner SR25...I though my rifle was heavy.  I bet that Stoner could stack em tight though.

Now I'm glad I didn't bother going.  I was having so much fun at the shoot that I stayed longer than planned, so I skipped the show and headed straight home.  Oh, well... maybe the show in Montgomery next weekend will be better. (I usually find a few good deals there.)

Yeah, I didn't find anything abnormally good except for a cheap riser for my flattop.  Still fun to go, however.  Ah well...

I found Colt 20 rounders marked .223, they appear unused or at least 97%, for 15 bucks apiece, I got five, I thought it was a good show as far as variety. Pre-ban high cap mags still priced over a hundred bucks each in some booths.
