Any members here belong to the NG?  Going in for my physical tomorrow.  Anyway, had a few questions for infantrymen.  Specifically mortarman.

11C- they carry heavy things like base plates, tubes and the ammo, their motto is "High angle hell".  I was in a MN guard unit for a short time.  I like to think that nowadays they are much more professional than they were 11 years ago given the fact that they actually will more than likely get deployed to unfriendly areas where people will shoot at them.

I am prior CAV scout NG and prior active duty Air Force.   My NG unit was in Austin, MN.  Good crew.
