Call me an optimist, but I think the labor dispute will resolve itself at the 11th hour, and everyone will be back to working normally after that.

Hey Astronaut Jones, what kind of seniority do you have out there? Several guys in my family are life-long NWA mechanics. My dad just retired 3 weeks ago after 39 1/2 years... That's an ugly situation you guys have out there - hope it works out, but not optimistic...

Sorry, not sure exactly where my dad worked... He always talks about "trimming" engines, if that means anything to you. I'll have to ask him for more details next time I talk to him.

There are probably 2 areas that trim engines. If he worked line maintenance I probably know him.
