Looky looky....

Seems the BATFE/DOJ have at least updated their policy to the 1980s...

FFL dealers can now FAX their paperwork to one another.

Next thing you know, the gubmint will slowly discover this new fangled thing called "e-mail" and let dealers scan and email thier paperwork to one another...but don't hold your breath.

NICS checks over the Internet are also in trials at some dealers.

I'm not sure why a dealer even needs a paper copy of another dealer's license anyway.  Verifying the number via the ATF website and sending firearms only to that address should be more than sufficient.
