I had to go to Mystic today. I went through Ledyard and there was some guys with an "Impeach Obama" information stand. They had giant pictures of Obama with a Hitler mustache and a web site in addition to the guys with American flags and pamphlets. The information stand is set up in front of the Ledyard Post Office. It was nice to see there are still some people left in this state who are not liberals. I did not have time to stop but will check out their web site.

I saw one of those in front of the East Granby post office a few weeks ago. Gave a honk and thumbs up.

A welcome sight, but we have to keep in mind that it isn't Obama that's the problem. He's simply the puppet-in-chief, easily thrown out and replaced with another waste of skin.

Its a small start. But won't make much difference in CT unless the majority of people who always vote Democrat either stay home or start voting for a non Democratic, and non progressive candidates. Right now we are screwed because of the large number of progressive politicians in both houses of the legislature along with a progressive governor. At this stage of the game it doesn't matter what political affiliation follows the name, its their political ideology (Progressivism, Marxism, Socialism, Communism) that is destroying our state. While getting Obama out of the White House is good for the nation it doesn't change mess our state is in.

Edit to add: Right now we are screwed at the national level because the GOP continually tries to be Progressive Lite. They run away or fumble badly fighting the core problems with our country. Obamacare is a perfect example. Most polls show its extremely unpopular, Obama/Democrats have had to push most of the implementation dates back, again, pas the next election. The issue is ready made to Republicans to run with and over turn it, but they refuse to do so.

Well, you need to take to these guys.  I did when they Werner in Enfield.  Their stance is based on financial issues, beleoving Obama is depressioning our economy and running up our debt.  They were pushing for on the spot donations to support some house resolution.  These two guys where from Boston.

The two I talked to didn't support gun rights.  They seemed very hostile towards gun rights.x

I believe that is it. Like I said I did not stop. Was not in the mood. Just made me smile to see someone in this shithole state not in love with Obama.

"LaRouche was a presidential candidate eight times between 1976 to 2004, running once for his own U.S. Labor Party and campaigning seven times for the Democratic Party nomination."

I stopped to talk to them (in downtown Hartford) they where proposing the next "new deal" that would have the US and Canada create an aqueduct into the US from Canada with a goal to have a "world food basket" to stop world hunger.

I think I walked to the same two guys outside the post office in Middletown. When asked what they were going to do for Connecticut they brushed me off, and definitely were anti gun. They were also very pushy about donations.
