Require a permit to buy rifles/shotguns. Universal background checks. Limit firearm permit applications to one per year. Require permit to purchase ammo. We don't have county level government is CT because they were more corrupt than any other entity in the state, so the state ditched them because they don't like competition.
Only remnant is probate system, which is another fucking disaster. The nominal "police chiefs assoc" is going to do anything but help us. Some of their opinions are downright scary. |

Got it. How do the proposals here and in other states circumvent the fact that Ex post facto laws are expressly forbidden by the United States Constitution?
It seems grandfathering has been a way with exceptions in NJ, CA, now in NY, and pending CT. |

The law would criminalize conduct after its effective date. Thus if the law took effect on 1 JUL, you could not be prosecuted for possession of an item on 30 JUN. On 1 JUL you could be prosecuted, regardless of when you came into possession of the contraband. |

Not even probate really represents county government. It's just a haphazardly arranged system based geographic proximity. |

Poice chiefs in CT are nothing more than political puppets.
There are however always exceptions to the rule. I bet those exceptions are far and few inbetween |

Don't confuse chiefs with rank n' file troopers... Two entirely different animals.
But yeah, the top brass all suck Mao-lloy's knob so whatever he wants goes. None have balls of their own. We are, in a sense, a completely corrupt police state. |

The head of the police chief's association has a lot in common with Malloy. Both kids are charged with violent crimes with firearms
I wouldn't support guns if my kids were committing crimes with them...Jk... Father like son? Don't forget the drugs! |
