Can I purchase an SKS M that accepts AK mags and put the tapco SKS pistol grip stock on it and be legal in CT ?

yes, read the tacked threads.  also, a quick browsing of the ct laws or nra-ila websites will also help.

unless it is specifically listed by manufacturer and type, then it is good as long as it follows what is an "assault weapon feature" such as flash hiders, bayonet mounts, pistol grips and collapsing stocks

while you are doing research...

look up 922r... read that and then read it again...LOL

it has to do with the importation and amount of US made parts essentialy....

stock SKS is GTG but when you change things you must have a certain amount of non imported parts or something like that....
