Hey guys,

We are going to check out OKC for an upcoming weekend trip and we’re looking at staying in Bricktown or midtown. Seems like the ambassador, the skirvin or the colcord are the best hotels in the area. We’ve got reservations for mohogany for dinner.

Any recommendations would be appreciated. We love good brunch joints, enjoy good nightlife, but on the quieter side so a nice cocktail bar, speakeasy or wine dive.

Where’s the best shopping? Gotta keep her happy!

Thanks guys

I will say that the cheese curds at bricktown brewery are awesome. When I stay in OKC I stay at the comfort inn on meridian just south of I40. Never had an issue there and the king rooms are nice.

Hey there,

I actually work at the OKC Convention and Visitors Bureau! I've included some links below from the VisitOKC website that has some sources and ideas for activities to do.

I can tell you, that if you have not been to OKC in the last 4 years, The Jones Assembly is a MUST to eat for dinner (Don't forget to make a reservation if you go). You may also check out the new OMNI Hotel Headquarters downtown, it's definitely the nicest experience in town and has a brewery inside.

Here are some links that may help you decide:

Hope this helps! Have a great trip.

Guys let me update this for the record. We had a great time.

We stayed at the Omni, beautiful hotel, valet was quick and the bar was good. For dinner we at the Paseo Grill and Mahogany steak house. Both were excellent, although I enjoyed the ambiance of Paseo Grill better. We had Sunday brunch at the Jones Assembly which was really cool, the food was top notch, but the service was pretty shitty.

All in all, we had a great time and would go back.

Thanks for the recommendations.
