I’m looking for a range(greater than 100 yards) in the area or a place to call coyotes.

I’ll be there for about 2 weeks.  Any suggestions for ranges or other things to do?

It’s a hard no on hanging out at the QT and ending up on The First 48.  Tulsa always gets the killer.

I believe most of long ranges around Tulsa are all private. I believe US Shooting Academy is open to non members. I go to Happy Hollow Gun Range, West of Tulsa - but it’s longest rifle range is about 200m.

Coyotes, those things are everywhere. Just drive around at dusk and whistle.

I'd say US Shooting Academy is the way to go.  Their longest range is 300 yards but their facility is really nice from what I've seen of it.  I think it's $20 per day for non members with access to the whole place.

I've always wondered about why Tulsa is always featured on those shows lol.  It's a relatively low crime city compared to other big cities but you wouldn't know that from watching those murder porn tv shows.

Just avoid north Tulsa and you'll be fine.  Tulsa is one of those weird cities where the north side is the bad side instead of the south.

I went to USSA last time I was in Tulsa.  Truly a nice place.

Every town or city has a dark side.  Like most things, reality and perception are two Different things.

I’m from Alabama known for historical racism and violence.  I travel all over the US for work.  There is racism everywhere and everyone assumes it’s worst in AL.  AL is not a bad place to live and everyone gets along better than you might imagine.

They won't generally let non-members on the 300 yard range at USSA. Even members have to "qualify" on it now. Too many people shooting over the top of the berm, into the TPD shooting range. The longest you will have is 100.

I’m not surprised.  100 yards is a waste of time.
