I was cookin on my charcoal grill today at 3pm here in Moore. It was only 95 here.....it got really hot when the little bit of wind that was blowing swirled and caused all the heat to come right me. It went from 95 to 325 real quick!!

I called time and temp today after getting out of jury duty around 2pm and it was 99

Its only may and already this hot i wonder how bad it will get.  But even though we had no breeze and it was humid I still didnt feel like it felt that bad outside,  I must be used to hot weather or something.

Must be nice we had ice in our puddles a couple of days ago.  Can't even think about planting our garden yet.

most of the a/c units froze up in the casino last night, thought it would run alot of people out cause the temps got up to around 90 inside, but they didn't leave, just kept bitchin and playing, air finally kicked back on about 3am and was comfortable by the time I left at 6am, it was still better than my mom's dry cleaners, stopped by to say hi at 10am yesterday morning and it was already up to 110 in there, talk about a sweat shop, she's always talking about how hard it is to get anyone to work in a laundry anymore, I know I wouldn't do it unless I had to.

yeah, I spent alot of time in there when I was a kid, still got a big assed burn scar on my upper arm where a spray hose I was playing with got hot and  blew off the coupler and sprayed me down with steam and boiling water, used to press pants and shirts in there after school in the winter to make a little gas, booze and smoke money, what I shoulda typed was" I wouldn't do it again, unless I absolutly had to", how my moms done it for the last 55 yrs. is amazing to me.

we havent had hardly any rain or major storms so far this year which is very strange for oklahoma. i wonder how this is going to effect the summer heat. i asked the magic 8ball and he said record highs to be expected.

What you didn't metion is that it was probably a 8 hour piss each time!!

And at 8lbs per gallon....that's 32lbs !!!!
