Are any the parks on the route posted?
Following a public hearing Tuesday, Sept. 15, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors approved an ordinance amending the county code, to prohibit the possession, carrying or transportation of firearms, components and ammunition in county buildings, parks, recreation and community centers, and at or adjacent to permitted events. As required by law, the county will post signage at the entrances to all areas where firearms, components and ammunition are prohibited. Violations of the prohibition constitute a Class 1 Misdemeanor. |

As of yet, that hasn't happened. |

I’m going to have to bow out this week. Daughters surgery was pushed later and they even took the adenoids out. Just got her home and she’s miserable. Wife is flustered with the Oxy doses, prednisone and everything that needs to be done.

Hoodbridge? There be dragons. True Hoodbridge story. Summer of 17 I had some fab work done by a shop off Rt 1 in Hoodbridge. I was early (8 AM on a Saturday) when I went to pick it up, so I stopped in the Dunkin Doughnuts for some coffee and to kill an hour. About 8:30, five hispanic guys walk in. Four of them have gang / prison tats, heavily muscled, at least two hand guns between them. Fourth guy looks like a normal hispanic guy with two exceptions. First, he was scared shitless and obviously didn't want to be there with the other four. Second, his right arm was amputated just above the elbow. As in recently amputated, wrapped in gauze and seeping through. They bought him ice cream. In a cup, with a spoon. Put it in his left hand. And didn't let him sit down why they ate theirs. They finished, left their trash on the table, put his on the table and left. I suppose I could forgive the amputated arm, cause maybe he was a thief or something. But that ice cream thing was just damn cruel. |
