I know the nation's gun show went to 12.00, but I have a hard time believing the showplace show is $12! Good night, for that price I could drive to see my folks and stop by a bunch of gun stores.

I was looking at going for the same reason, need some powder. I just went to the SGK show this weekend here in Hampton and met the owner of Quantico Arms, nice guy.
they had a good deal on some AR mags. |

TNT is hit or miss this time of the year. Better call them and make sure. I can never remember if it is the Dec or January show they usually miss. I may go. Got 10,000 things to do around the house but that has never stopped me before. |

My better half was looking forward to seeing you, your wife and young one again. Darn! Options... The better half is riding along in the morning and is one heck of a baby sitter (we raised a girl too) if you want to meet us there, she will be more than happy to hang on to your young on while we do recon on the show floor (she asked about you, your wife and the baby actually.... and would rather tend a child than do the show). Then, we can all do lunch. Everyone wins! Danny |

They had Prvi go for $70-72/200 I bought up one, since it would have cost just a little bit more to have it shipped. Someone also had Igman SS109 for $85/200.
I also picked up some reloading gear, as well. |

Yep, wish you could have been there. Had lunch with Slim-Hazy, Tony-Ri, and Rumplestiltskin<sp> at the Mexico. Was very good. I saw RobertM once in the show when I was buying some magazines, looked back at where he was after the salseperson took my money and Robert was gone. I never saw him again the whole show. Dark Sun has Glock magazines for $15.00 each. Canned heat was like $165.00 for 500. Plenty of black rifles, AR's, PS90, Sig 556, you name it. Saw a DPMS stripped lower for $119. The reloading guy was there. All in all a good show IMHO. Danny

I made it to the show for about an hour, and met up with the crew for lunch. It was good to see Minuteman419 again, put a face to Rmplstlskn, and meet Tony-Ri. We didn't really have enough guys for a photo op. I was there the same time as you RobertM, you should have come to lunch!
I picked up an HKS magazine speedloader for my new SiG P229R and bought a rubber duck AK47 from "Little Joe". |

Need to Eat? Nah... I could go a long time on my reserves...
Glad I finally made it Mexico with a few VA crew... Ain't nothing better than talking AR's over good food with good people! I walked away with a new tri-fold Medic bag, 3 more PMAGS, some strippers (the ammo type, if my wife sees this) and some other small stuff. Didn't sell my M4 barrel, but Slim-Hazy gave me the idea build it into an upper and sell it that way, which I did and sold it that day on EE. I wish I had more money to spend there as I could have bought a BUIS, but the best deals are here on ARFCOM anyways... Till next time... Rmpl |
